Sue Haldane and Rare Disorders NZ invite you to Parliament to present our collective petitions to the Government seeking reform of the healthcare system to include all New Zealanders living with a rare disorder.
Sue and Rare Disorders NZ Chief Executive Lisa Foster will present the petition to Dr Liz Craig MP, Chairperson of the Health Select Committee, on behalf of the 300,000 New Zealanders within the rare disorder community.
Our collective is calling for acknowledgement of the common challenges faced by people living with a rare health condition, along with a commitment to address these challenges through the development of a New Zealand National Rare Disorder Framework.
After the petition is handed over at Parliament, please join us for afternoon tea:
TIME: 2.10pm - 3.00pm
